Within the first two weeks of the new year, I was fortunate enough to travel to one of my favorite places in the world, New York City. I had never really experienced real cold weather until I got to New York. People kept telling me that it was the coldest time to go and that I would be miserable but it was the complete opposite. Don't get me wrong, I never got used to the freezing temperatures, but waking up every morning to fresh snow is something you have to experience. One of the main reasons why my friends and I decided to go, was to see the very end of all the holiday decorations that New York was famous for. Which is why for our first stop we stopped by Rockefeller Center. After we had our Home Alone moment by the tree, we had dinner at Carmine's in Times Square. The food was amazing and the portions were family sized so we had so much food leftover. If you're ever in New York you have to eat here. |
